Are engineers socially disadvantaged?

I take it all back. Sloman has to sit down to pee ;-)

Whereas Jim has these neat incontinence pads, and doesn't even have to
get up to pee.
Hahahahaha.... 9:15 in the morning and laughing already ;)

Kevin, I feel it is my duty to warn you that the act of nailing
something to a cesspool has proven itself to be a rather untidy
proceedure for the one who is doing the nailing.

You ought to see the looks I get when I wear my sweat shirt with
Maxwell's Equations on the back ;-)

Particularly if they see the front also... it says, "And God said, let
there be light"

Do you know of any retailer that carries them?

Here's one, thought they don't shot the "let there be light":

If you can come up with the artwork, you can get them to print it.

For example (Valentine's for geeks) this one I just put together:

I wonder how you'd typeset the surface integral symbols with high
quality (other than with *nix/LaTex etc.) ISTR an equation editor
included with MS Word.

Spehro, you old dog you! I thought I'd noticed some certain spring in your
step lately, so to speak! ;-P

The introverted, shy, shambling, disheveled engineer is a cliche that
probably wasn't even true when it came into vogue, and it certainly
doesn't represent engineers in say the 25-35 age group right now (at
least, not in the USA).
Unfortunately, a serious stereotype - particularly in America 40 years ago -
is that the genius has to be a defective human being. If you can do
superhuman things, then you must be subhuman in other areas. When I was
growing up as a scientifically inclined youngster in the 1960s, people took
it for granted that if I was good at science and technology (not just an A
student, but a person with avid interest and enthusiasm outside the
classroom), then I *must* be inept at a lot of ordinary things. Bah humbug!

I like it. Somehow I don't think my wife would be impressed though. Even

Ha. It should have little ECT electrodes on the head.

Seriously, you wouldn't believe the PC noise about this. One of the
members of the BoD of the local hospital is the CEO of VTB. They're
trying to run her out of town for doing something so "insensitive". I'm
really tempted to buy one just to piss off the PC crowd.
Publicity. There's a method to the madness. ;-) Angrily reporting it
to CNN would probably be the best thing you could do for her.

We use Frame, but...

Fine if you have bags of the 0000FF stuff.

Hmm, I thought it would be much 00FF00 stuff.
Yes, that's it.

In any case, you're right. Frame isn't for the cheap.
