I'd think there are more dangers in the temporary effects. Dropping
from 150 to 149 isn't a severe dump. Or dropping from 89 to 88.

I don't know how it's affected your brain, but think about this.
Someone I knew well died of alcohol abuse. Pancreatic cyst first.
Maybe 5 years later, the body couldn't repair well. Poor recovery
after a knee replacement. Chronic pain. Gall bladder removal -
almost ruptured the spleen. Easily bruised and bloated lower
extremeties caused by hemmhoraging capillaries lasting 3 - 5 years.
Finally bled to death from the same hemhorraging. Not a pretty sight
at all. Sad.

I think you're an ok guy. Take care of yourself.

Alcoholics often suffer from severe constipation!

 

If you start off with an IQ of 150 you can drop to 130 and still
impress most people. Not taking care of yourself, abuse of drugs and
mass quantities of alcohol, and normal aging seems to do this. But with
an IQ of 130 and 50 or 70 years of life experience you can still be
pretty useful, if not downright formidable. The lunkhead that started
off at 97 and drops to 83 and has a less intellectual life experience
might not fare so well, and will likely be drooling and gaping vacantly
rather early into his "golden years".
