I'm looking for a supplier of small quantities of tiny screws. The type
and size that hold mechanisms in personal stereos and miniature radios
together that get lost. Tried UK Electronics directory but only bigger
sizes.
The diameters are less than a millimetre, maybe 0.5mm or 0.75mm.

Smaller BA sizes (to 12BA) seem to be available readily from
clockmaker suppliers. e.g. Meadows & Passmore in the UK.

That's the best way - and gets you all the other little doodads that fall off.

Cheap or free broke stuff and strip it.

Hi

It is only a guess, but what about a good model shop. I did a quick look on
the web for "Machine Screws" and found
http://www.acornfasteners.co.uk/index.htm
but I guess that you probably want smaller quantities than they will supply,
but they might point you in the right direction if you rang them.

How about eyeglass repair kits?
