Sears tv menu

Hi, I have a Sears stereo 20 inch tv (1993) can`t find the model # , when the
power button is pressed tv works normal, change channels etc...but the
contrast,brightness,tint and other text menus appear automatically and will not
go away. they appear like, contrast IIIIIIIIIII than contrast full
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII than brightness,same thing and repeats various
displays, do I need the remote, or is it something internal? remote is
missing.

You need to turn off the demo mode. Might need the remote control to do
this, might not. Check your manual or call Sears customer service for help.
