What happened to rec.radio.amateur.antenna?
I tried to log on this morning and got a note saying it is
not available, then it disappeared from my list of newsgroups. It also
cannot be found in the list to download.

It's still on my ISP's news server(Earthlink) and also looks current
via Google Groups. Maybe your ISP dropped it?

It's in the list of Big 8 newsgroups posted March 15th in news.groups.

There has been some strange stuff, like REPOST messages from
a ressurector program that indicates that somebody is running a
cancelbot against the newsgroups. Maybe somebody is still dumb enough
to have their server accept those sorts of control message.
