Sorry, Blob. As far as I know it's the first time one of my TinyURLs has gone
wrong. I don't know why it happened. Shall I compare it to other computerish
things that've been designed to test us?

Anyway, in case anyone is still interested, TinyURL's error message mentions
the original URL as <http://www.poetry-online.org/
shakespeare_sonnet_18_shall_i_compare_thee_to_a_summers_day.htm> (beware of
that linebreak!). Marvellous writing.

You shouldn't send attachments to this group. Either link to the pic
stored somewhere on the Internet or one of the alt.binaries groups.

Sorry cant help with identification.

Mine does the same. IMO people should learn how to use an ftp client
(eg CuteFTP, WS_FTP) to upload a file to their own web space.

It was advice not a whinge.

However, I don't expect a top posting illiterate like yourself to
understand.

If you can't even grasp the fundamentals of the written form of your
native tongue, I don't expect you to understand the finer points of
posting on Usenet.

oops - sorry guys... I have been using forums for ages now where this is
accepted behaviour and forgot that I was back in NG land with this post.

My sincerest apologies if my attachment has caused anyone undue concern
and/or mental anguish ;)

Thanks Frank, I will try Farnell and RS.

Eurocard half-size. RS part number 100-8702 ( or very similar depending on
sex, etc).

Ken
PS All they said about attachments, I wouldn't see the pic from my other
newsreader (different news server). It's better to post a link if possible.
Cheers.

Nothing wrong with IE for such situations.
