Panasonic NV-FS90

Hi all,

I have an FS-90 which (I think) is suffering from the leaky caps that this
particular model seems to be plagued with. I am at a point where I am unsure
if it is worth continuing repair of the unit (perhaps replacing all of the
electro's and tantalums) or to just send it to live on the farm.

Does anybody have a service manual for this model or know where I can get
one?

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers,

Cam

most panasonic VCR's of the F11 - F-70 series (and probably more) suffer
from this, but are brillient units. if the heads are good, (shiny - not
discoloured) and the playback is clean, then its worth fixing, its the
caps
in the PSU that need replacment,. if it is a Hi-Fi unit (usually has 2 vu
meters on the display) then i'd fix it.

Hi,

Those are very nice units and definetely worth repairing.

I do have a manual, but it is in printed form. Which part are you after?
What is the problem with unit?
