When viewed side by side the Iphone photos don't look any better or
worse than the HTC's on the small phone screen, but where the HTC really
comes into it's own is when you transfer the pictures onto a PC and look
at them in full screen.
The quality of the HTC pictures is absolutely brilliant whereas the

You mustn't be looking in the right place

know my choice of a Toyota is the right choice for me. Sure, my Toyota

an early 80's analogue pre "brick" Motorola car phone with a handpiece
that was tethered to a car sized battery, so everything today seems
small by comparison.
Much as I admire the features, performance and ability of the desire
it's primary function to me is being a phone, and it gets used on that
basis. I have no games on it, I don't use it as a multi-media system,
and I'd be *very* lucky if I used more than 10% of my monthly 1GB data
allowance.

conversion programs, and of course the camera which really is excellent.
I've also modified mine to change the way it does a few things, and
removed a lot of the pre-packaged crap that I'm unlikely to ever need
like Twitter and Facebook apps.
As I said, if it floats their boat then good on them. All I'm saying is
that there are alternatives out there.

Toyota are world famous for making reliable vehicles (with a few recent
exceptions) and deservedly so. Where they're not so great in my opinion
is in the area of giving people value for money. They rely far too much
on the value of their name to make sales rather than offering features
that make the product look like a worthwhile purchase compared to those
offered by their competitors.
Can't blame them for that though, as they're in a pretty enviable
position and I don't expect there'd be too many companies that would be
