I have to buy a new CRO for my part time offsider to use. The old
analogue Tektronix he uses has failed in one channel. I thought I\'d just
buy a new digi-scope as they are pretty well priced now. These are the
two I am considering. Both are available for less than AUS$350.00, when
purchased from an Aussie source.

The Hantek has 12 bit resolution, so appears, on the surface, to be a
better thing. There are some reports of poor software issues with
earlier Hanteks, though they may have been solved.
What are people\'s thoughts? It probably doesn\'t matter much, as it\'s
basic audio measurements that will be it\'s purpose. Other alternatives
or suggestions are welcome.
FWIW: My current banch \'scope if the very nice Rigol DS1054Z.
