I complained to Roadrunner abuse dept. about one of their
users, and I included the offender's full message headers
because I knew they'd need that.

They wrote back requesting that I send them the message
headers, so I replied and included them again.

Then Roadrunner wrote back again, telling me that I needed to
supply them the message headers ... I replied, reminding them
that I'd been including the headers every time, and here they
are once again.

And Roadrunner wrote back again, telling me that I needed to
supply them the message headers ... My last email told them
that I was through wasting my time with them.

I got into a similar loop with some ISP - don't recall which
one, but it was a big one. They kept sending me automated
responses, asking for material (the same material) I kept
sending them. Highly annoying. I'm not sure if they just set
it up sloppily, or whether it was a simple way to give an
appearance of doing something, without actually having to do
anything. But I quickly learned that it wasn't worth the
hassle.

However, some people apparently have managed to get a response.
Good for them.

Roadrunner is the only ISP I have ever heard of that censored its
own users. Roadrunner no longer serves UseNet. They have to obey
court orders, but real news servers don't care about netcop
wannabes.
They DO care about ridding their accounts of clueless, SPAMMING, group
abusing retards like you though.

Consider yourself on the list for continued complaint messages. You
will raise their ire, and that right soon, if I have my way about it,
boy.

Look, John Doe, your idea is not original. The reason that no one is
able to find any prior description of the idea is simple: The people to

No, he is a patent troll wannabe. Nothing really new, probably older than
my mere 6 decades or so. Nobody responds because it is not "all that" for
keeping wire organized. Thus John Doe takes being ignored as nobody
having something else that works, which is hardly the case. Nor is his
knots all that good of a solution, all the more so with today's higher
line signaling speeds. Which are more and more frequently imposed over
the ordinary power conductors.

It is older than shipping itself.

Before there were ships, there were boats.

I'd say that we can quite firmly believe that man has used that knot
since the Vikings' ancestors tooled around in boats 8 plus thousand years
ago.

It's funny you say that, because a similar thought crossed my mind when I
realized he was seriously trying to claim his idea was unique and
original. At first I had trouble believing him; but he got so worked up

If you think that what you have learned is a big deal, you should

Yes and no. The real tricky part is learning how create a self-model that
reasonably represents the physical universe. The signal is about 40 dB
under the noise (QRN not QRM) today. Sorting out what connects and is
reasonably self-consistent is just part of the task. It gets really
difficult if you have never hear that there are tools to determine such.
Let alone the difference if you get introduced to them. Do you need
introductions? Polite questions here (sed) will provide pointers.

Patience might be one of my virtues. But I try to reply in kind,
not to troll.

But here you are very late to the party, making straw men.

That is just another straw man. In fact, I haven't even mentioned

Another straw man. I have never said anything remotely resembling
that. I freely admit that there are other things that work. There
are other things that work without ties, but none that I have seen
are as simple.

Nor is his knots all that good of a solution,
It is potentially useful to practically everybody on the planet,
and it doesn't require tools or ties. Individuals can decide for
themselves whether it's a good solution. Most of the people I've
run into in real life have been impressed. But that's not how it
works here on UseNet, good ideas rub some people the wrong way,
having something to do with their big egos.

all the more so with today's higher line signaling speeds.
I never suggested otherwise. In fact, I have plainly stated that
it might not be useful for all wire. But it's probably good for
99% of wires ordinary people use.

And so that anybody reading this doesn't have to wade through all
of the garbage trying to find it...

Take a wire of whatever sort that is about 4 feet long. Fold it in
half. Fold it in half again. Now it is 1 foot long. Grab both ends
and tie an overhand knot. That's it. It stays stuck together in a
much more compact and easy to manage form. The same method can be
used for tying up the ends of wires that are currently being used
(plugged in at both ends) by doing as described above with the
folded excess wire.

That one is more to the point, but if it don't work...
