"Using latest nanotechnology research, BatMax developed the first
cellphone battery life booster that extends the mobile phone battery
life and reduces charging time. BatMax is based on the IonXR, a new
exclusively developed nanoceramic material, resulting from years of
laboratory research. BatMax foil slows down the loss of capacity of
Ni-CD, Ni-MH, Li-Ion and Li-Polymer batteries and thus provides
improved battery performance. BatMax is a small (1.14 x 1.92 in)
rectangular sticker which is installed on the mobile phone battery.
Users just need to attach BatMax to the battery or the cellphone.
They claim users will notice a battery life improvement after 5 to
10 charging cycles."

Don't be too quick to judge. Just be patient, it'll work.

Sheesh those people have no shame. On the other hand...

Placebo medication has been scientifically proven time and time again to be
a cure all and is surprisingly effective as a medication. In many ways a
placebo is potentially far more valuable as a medication than aspirin. If
this Batmax product makes users more satisfied and happy with their
cellphones, maybe it is money well spent. That said, I don't think I'll be
investing in one just yet for my cell phone, cutting edge "nanotechnology"
or not.

Well, I had a litltle bug in an 8051 program, I couldnt be bothered
with finding it, I just stuck a BatMax on the 8051, and it was cured.
Truly amazing.
I just ordered another hundred.

Even better, I put a blank 8051 in a dev kit, stuck a BatMax on it,
powered the system up, and it did "hello world" on the terminal.

I think the ultimate test will be if it can cure the spyware problems
in XP. Next time I open the PC up, I will stick a BatMax on the hard
drive.

I beleive that Batmax are working on the audio snakeoil cable problem.
You will no longer need expensive HiFi speaker cables, just put the
spiralwrap Batmax around your normal cable, and magically, everything
sounds better. If Batmax can rid the world of these expensive audio
cable rip offs, I will be pleased.

Now _that'_ obviously bullshit.

I'll continue to keep my cell phone in my pyramid, thank you very much.

You should be careful what you say about the BatMax. Someone from BatMax
might see your post and quote your above statement and add it to their
"testimonials" section of their website...

Well, you could extend the battery life up to shelf life, if you put a
little piece of scotch tape on the terminal.

Doesn't do much for signal strength, however.

;-)
well, you could ebay it as a personal mobile phone blocker

My wife's celll phine has been causing her fits. It's been lethargic, low
on energy, and all-around a PITA. I stopped it's heart, and then jump
started it, followed by a call to download new firmware (wouldn't connect
to the mothership at all before being clinically dead and brought back).
It's just peachy now. I did it a few months ago to mine and the batteries
last 3x longer. I can even leave it on all day now.

Just call the mother ship. I can work wonders.

Errrr -- do these things work with the little "antenna boosters" I see
advertised on late night TV that will make a cell phone work perfectly
inside an all metal elevator ??? Maybe stick them together !!

I sticked one over my chest, and my pace-maker battery will last forever.
