cat barf on the rug

We've decided that the best thing to do for cat barf on the rug is to
let it dry for a couple of days, then lift it up with a spatula.

Doesn't the dog like it, then?

Then treat the spot with "Nature's Miracle", an enzymatic cleaner.

Silly.

If you keep an eye on your cat then you will see the barf warning
signs.

Lies down straight. opens jaws, like a yawn..... toungue comes out.
Sides of stomach start to go wobble wobble wobble. Retches a bit then
SPUKE.

There is enough time to grab a newspaper and stick it in the kill
zone.

Mind you..... I'll just mention that cats spuke a lot because of hair
balls. If you got yourself a pet comb and gave the cat a daily groom
then it probably wouldn't spuke so much.

They also like it.

I recently tried a product called "Va-poo-rise". It was invented to make dog
poo disappear, but I found it also works on cat vomit. I think Walmart
carries it.

Can it be retro-fitted to the sources, so that the problem is eliminated
ab initio?

We suspect that Marge [1] is grossly over-eating. In one of the lanes
near our house, there's a feral cat feeding station that some of the
neighbors maintain; they've nailed hundreds of catfood can tops to the
fence to make a neat mandela sort of pattern. And I suspect one of the
other neighbors is feeding her, too.

She hides all over the house when she's in, so we can't keep an eye on
her. She especially likes to toss it onto carpets.

Hmmm. I found a ppt presentation on rotating machines that mentions
it, but couldn't figure out what is "salient" about the poles
[ethnic jokes?... go for it]. Any thoughts?

BTW, I lied - poor memory. I found my first book on electronics in
6th grade. It taught electron flow from neg to pos. At 6, I was
hooking up dry cells - somehow figured out that I could connect a
old phone handset carbon mic element to a speaker from one of my
disassemblies and a drycell. Didn't have a clue about current at
that time. The dry cells died and I went on with normal kid stuff
until that book addicted me. That was back when Poly Paks was
around. Popular Electronics, Radio Electronics.

It was later that I saw the pos to neg convention. Not in HS
classes. Maybe the Army. It's definitely taught in EE classes.

What was your experience with all that? Hobby, military, EE?

Instead of having a rotor which is basically an iron cylinder with
peripheral slots where the windings live, a salient pole machine has a
rotor with projecting pole-pieces, around which are the windings.

I just buy from the local PC Club... ~$700 for a good P4 box with 1G
RAM and a big HD. I always buy without OS, then install Win2K Pro.
