I was looking at Jaycar and Altronics. They both sell automotive relays, and the datasheets for them describe the pinout as \"Form A\". However they are what auto-electricians call \"type B\".

\"Form A\" is a description of the internals for the relay, not the
external terminals.

Looks like both type A and form A to me, are you saying the picture is
wrong? it would not be the forst time Jaycar has stocked product that
did not match the description.

No that is type B with pins 30 and 87 on opposite sides. Used in at least 90% of cars, hence most places only sell type B.
Type A was used by BMW in the 80s, Holden in the 90s, Hyundai and Kia in the noughties.

You\'re right, I serched type A and it seems I found the only wrong
picture on the internet and studied it carefully :(

Anyway form A completely different to type A. form A B and C are
about what the relay does. A has an \"87\", B has an \"87a\", and from C has both.
