If the probe does not rip through the foil, yes.
I was just thinking that a conductive sheet would just short out the
HV from the taser. Probably best to weave carbon fiber into a wooly
jumper

buckyfibers, and they're conductive... ;>)

CF is not actually that conductive.
You want it so that it's a couple of orders of magnitude more conductive than
skin.
