Teknovation lands Multi-million Video Surveillance Contract
Longmont, CO - October 2003 - Colorado based Teknovation Corporation
has been awarded a
contract with Muzak LLC as the prime vendor of Digital Video management
and surveillance products
to the music company's CCTV division - Focus Solutions.
Muzak, LLC in recent years has expanded their offering to include video
surveillance services to their
400,000 corporate clients. The contract with Teknovation allows the
company to offer a wide array of
additional products and services which will not only increase the
company's current market share, but
will greatly enhance their clients' operational management
capabilities through the use of video.
Kevin Sheridan, Muzak's Director of Focus Solutions said, "We've
been evaluating and testing products
for some time and are convinced that Teknovation has the reliability
and features we were demanding,
with a vision for the future that matched ours."
Teknovation's advanced video solutions include obtaining statistics
such as the number of people or cars
that have passed in front of the surveillance cameras. The company's
goal is to expand the use of video
to assist companies with their marketing and operational tasks in
addition to providing basic video
surveillance.
Teknovation's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Dave Nieweg,
says, "With Muzak's national
coverage and existing technical skill set, they are in a great position
to deliver the next generation of
video-based services and products at a level exceeding the security
industries current capabilities."
The initial rollout of Teknovation products and services offered by
Muzak will be aimed at Muzak's
Quick Serve client base.
