Which 27" to 32" TV sets have the fewest repairs?

Hello. I hope this is the proper place to ask this question.

When I ask people I know, I get so many different answers that I don't
know what to buy. One common thread is that Magnavox and the word
"junk" often are said in the same sentence to me. Some say Consumer
Report magazine is accurate, others say it's baloney.

What brand of set would you buy? I have an older Sony 27" that I like
very much but its days are numbered. It has great flesh tones.

Thank you for any help.

From our experience, the Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi, and JVC are the most
dependable. We see the lower cost names in the shop more often. As for
picture accuracy when doing calibration and testing, we found the Sony and
Panasonic to be very accurate.
