Hi,

Well, after further "digging", I found out that the horizontal winding in
the yoke has a short. Since this is a 1991 set, the customer did not want
to put too much money into it, so I have not replaced the yoke.

Original Post:
I have a Symphonic TV/VCR 13TVR (1/91) in my shop with shorted
H.O.T. D1397. After replacing that and STK5633 (V. REG), I used a 100W light
bulb in B+ line to FBT. Note: I checed the B+ filter caps. I connected a
meter to the B+ side of bulb and measured 131V with set turned on. Measured
73V on FBT side of bulb. If I short out the bulb (bypass), the B+ goes to
around 165V!!! Note: I do not have S.M. What is the cause?

Tip for your old computer (reduce discard pollution too):

If you can't sell your old computer, don't throw it away. Use it to backup
your software by transferring files/folders from your new computer or laptop
to it. I transferred my Windows folder and other stuff to my old computer
using "PC Link", which I downloaded from www.simtel.net (cool site).
