TSK-1817 is apparently a very common controller board for espresso machines.
Does anyone have a schematic of this board or know the voltage of the zener
on the board?

Thanks,
Alan

Are they interchangeable with toasters? I may know a contact that would
have some spares ;-) ;-)

Cheers TT :)

LOL.
Took a punt and replaced the rusted zener with a 12V 1W type (overkill) as
well as 2 x 12k resistors which had become affected by steam and the effects
of electrolysis. :-(
The zener provides crude voltage regulation for a couple of ICs on the board
that provide the pulses to the Triac which operates the steam pump.

Cheers,
Alan
