Apartment buildings are like cruise ships: they are virus incubators.

Likewise, so are homes...

That appears to be a hyperbolic overstatement, and
could be dangerously misleading.

The phrase used in several[1] nbcnews articles is
"became infected despite largely staying at home".

That is clearly not "isolation".

I suspect they are :(
I would guess lifts are particularly problematic.

Over here high rises are particularly associated
with poor families, which might contribute to covid
being associated with poverty.

When asked by a stern-faced doctor after ending up in the ER panicking
from some bad weed "Son, have you been doing the drugs? Your whole
future may depend on how you answer my question now, son" with their Mom
and a police officer standing nearby I have noticed that 100% of
teenagers who had been doing the drugs respond that they had not, in
fact, been doing the drugs.

Make it a crime to not be at home, and then do a survey of the sick in
hospital asking:

"Hey have you been at home? Don't worry we're EMTs and medical
professionals, we're not going to tell our friends in the police
department who we work with and talk with everyday about you at all."

Sick people from the projects that nobody's ever given a shit about
before and suddenly it's expected that they're going to give honest and
detailed answers about their life history and possibly risk arrest for
violating quarantine order to help some medical professionals and PhD
epidemiologists making $182,000/yr do a study. Ya, sure.

Yes, it wouldn't be unusual if government and scientific "experts" got
the lockdown thing backwards. And wrecked our economy in the process.

What if Orange Man was right?
