I have P52 TV and when the power button is pushed the set clicks but that is
all. Can someone point me to a site with the wiring diagram?

How about any ideas on what to look for?

On the box it said that the chassis # is PTK169PK0 but I have not seen any
info on that chassis. Is that the correct number?

If you have not seen any info on that chassis you have not yet looked.
Do a Google groups search for ctc169 in sci.electronics.repair and
there are tons of postings. You do need to have some basic
understanding and troubleshooting ability to determine which of the
problems apply on that set.

The SERVICE MANUAL can be purchased from any Thomson authorized parts
dealer, but if you have a couple of years experience repairing sets
and the information posted online you should have no problems without
it. Schematic is not available online except for HW SAMS and it will
not be specific to your chassis version (there will be some
differences) and have some cost.

The full service manual and training manual are almost a necessity if
you have not repaired a few ctc169's before.

No sites, just Google Groups and do a search on sci.electronics.repair
archive for ctc169. Tons of information.

Also some information www.repairfaq.org.

Beyond that the service manual and training manual will be needed.

Could be capacitors in power supply,
Diodes in power supply,
HV divider,
capacitors in hot shaping circuit,
system control problems,
vertical circuit problems. and so on just too many to list.
