Is it possible to use a "normal" 300W PC power supply to recharge a
12v 7ah lead acid battery. If so, I need some help with the interface
between the 300w power supply and the + and - terminals of the
battery. Thanks

No (or perhaps "not easily"). You typically require 14.4 volts or so
to charge a 12 volt lead-acid battery.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to keep looking.

You can buy a trickle charger for a few tens of dollars, and get it done
properly. The PC PS will cutout when it gets an overvoltage, so it
probably won't get up to 14.4VDC.
