Lunatic cultural background, if you can call it that:

Pathetic track record of corruption and incompetence:

Biden will be dead within months of election if it goes their way, and Harris will be president.

If Biden wins election but dies before taking oath of office, a real possibility, the 20th Amendment specifies the vice president elect becomes the president elect and takes the helm on January 20th as president.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President-elect_of_the_United_States#President-elect_succession

This is not to say Biden was any kind of winner either...but he\'s clearly down to his last hours.

Kamala learned politics from (and in bed with) Willie Brown. Willie is
brilliant, funny, a superb politician, and a total sociopath.

I have an indirect connection to Willie. My wife once broke into his

She was a friend and co-worker with his GF (and mother of one of his
kids.) C had borrowed Willie\'s Jag and locked the keys inside somehow.
She panicked, so Mo got a coat hanger and burgled the car. That was
easier to do in those days.

John Larkin doesn\'t know what words mean.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie_Brown_(politician)

A successful politician who has had a long career in politics won\'t be a sociopath. He may not conform to his opponents\' (self-serving) ideas about correct behavior, but that won\'t make him a sociopath, despite what his opponents might like to believe.

> I have an indirect connection to Willie. My wife once broke into his car.

That would be a sociopathic act. As with most ostensibly sociopathic acts, there will have been more going on than is covered by the description.

Hey SL0W MAN,

Kamala has got you stuttering? Do you get a hard-on when she\'s on TV?
Not only did Willie date her, but he gave her a BMW and appointed her to two commissions for which she was unqualified, but received big bucks for doing nothing. So, you think that the relationship was platonic? God, you DO have a hard-on for her!

Some do. There are exceptions.

It\'s in the nature of the job - telling lies voters want to hear.

** You cannot get \"caught\" telling folk what they WANT to hear.
The population isn\'t uniform enough that everybody wants to hear exactly the same story. There will always be some sceptics around who will happily show up a lie. They do tend to get shouted down by the local equivalents of Flyguy, who know the lie they want to hear and are rather resistant to facts, but - as Lincoln said - you can\'t fool all the people all the time, and lying does leave you stuck with supporters like Flyguy.

Cos you are only reflecting their thoughts back to them.

Problem is, the public are seriously fickle.
And composed of lots of different people lots of different interests.

> Means the other team wins the next election ...

Proportional representation, multi-party democracy and coalition governments lead to much finer shifts in political power. Living in the Netherlands for 19 years lead me to believe that it works rather better.

> Ain\'t democracy wonderful?

Sadly - as Churchill said - the alternatives are even less wonderful.

If you tell an American \"I think A = B.\"

He will often follow up with \"Oh, so you must also think that C = D. And
E = F. And W = Q.\"

It\'s a tendency that can be exploited.

There are tons of ways - besides just waiting - that the dems could
push him out and get the first female President of color. Their
problem now is to keep him looking reasonably functional long enough
to get him elected.

The teleprompter seemed like a good idea, if they could get him to
read the right parts coherently. It must be frustrating to be part of
his handler team. I expect some great books about that some day.

All sorts of things get revealed if you wave a $10 million book
advance in front of some people. Some of those things may even be
true.
