I have 3 Philips portable phones. I've tried new batteries
in them, having first fully charged them, but even on
standby they drain very quickly. The charger is just a
step-down transformer and the rectifier circuit is in the
phone. I wonder if there may be a common fault on these that
drain the battery quickly?. Any thoughts on this, anyone?.
