Would you be willing to assist me in my MBA class project?

I have a short survey online for engineers with questions about how you use
search engines. Only 11 questions and it is completely anonymous.

If you would be willing to help me, please take five minutes and go to:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=76406916462

Thank you very much ... I really do appreciate it.

Martin,

I wanted to respond to your points. Yes, I work for a signal processing
company. And I happen to be working on my MBA. Anyone who has done course
work knows that course projects are more interesting if you actually care
about the results.

I have purposely picked a topic that I find interesting and relates to my
job at Danville Signal as a Product Manager. I am not trying to say I am
not related to a signal processing company. I thought I was pretty clear
on that.

Please do note that the results are anonymous and the raw date is being
used in the statistical tools I am supposed to be learning in my class.

I hope this helps clarify any concerns you have.

Will your results be available to us? That might actually be
interesting.

How about this quick survey for the group:

Which search engines do you usually use?

I'm about 99% Google; rarely use anything else.

Hi Lori
I dont know stats, but I did do the survey. It is nice to know that
you actually exist, and you follow up NG messages.

I do find searching a great problem, esp on google, say if I look for
a hifi bit of kit , todays search was for " dolby 5.1 standalone
decoder" with google, a nightmare, just providing the best price,
never the kit's specification. Think google is aiming for the
walmart/asda market

Maybe you should elaborate here, in the NG what you are looking for

Ah well ,change is inevitable, progress is not

Hi. I don't use Google, so just assumed syntax was the same; I mean, how
different can it be? :)

Good luck with the studies!

search.com; likewise.

I'm not happy supporting mono-cultures. If an alternative works, I use
it.

11. Pretend you are searching on Google for a DSP board for an embedded
project. What keywords would you type into Google to begin your search?

'Plastic Facesitting Fetish'

Oh shit, errr 'DSP Board Embedded'
