Ignore? No I\'m fine with firearms being heavily restricted in my fine
state; there have only been 5 police officers killed by hostile gunfire
in the past decade, as opposed to 30+ in Louisiana. and Louisiana has a
smaller population.

Hey Bitter Ex, if you ban guns ONLY criminals will have them. Concealed carry holders are more law-abiding than police officers.

That\'s not the way that gun control works. If you need a gun, and can show that you are sane enough to look after one carefully, you can get a gun license even in places that take gun control very seriously.

Criminals find it much harder to get guns in these sorts of places, and can get locked up for merely holding a gun without the right permit. It works. The lives saved are mostly in attempted suicides - the gun you own is much more likely to kill you than anybody else.

Hey SL0W MAN, this is yet another bromide that libtards like you peddle. The truth is there is no correlation between gun ownership and suicide rates. Japan has one of the lowest gun ownership in the world, but do have one of the highest suicide rates.

Every law-abiding gun owner is law-abiding until the day he isn\'t, and
every time two drunk jack-offs engage in a gunfight in America and both
of them live they both claim it was self-defense.
Hey Bitter Ex, you can say that about ABSOLUTELY EVERYBODY, so it is MEANINGLESS. But the stats are VERY CLEAR: CCW holders are EXCEPTIONALLY law-abiding.

Actually there is.

https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/magazine/guns-and-suicide/

The problem is that attempted suicide without a gun is successful about 10% of the time, and with a gun about 90% of the time. Japan happens to have a rather odd culture when it come to suicide - it\'s a lot more socially acceptable there - and it would have even more deaths if it went in for higher levels of gun ownership.

The fact that Japan has a lot of suicides has absolutely nothing to do with my assertion that the gun you own is much more likely to kill you than anybody else. It\'s the same sort of observation as the one that female chemists were much more likely to die by suicide than the rest of the population - they attempted to kill themselves at much the same rate as everybody else, but had access to the kinds of chemicals that would kill them quickly and reliably.

Because they can\'t get a concealed carry license if they weren\'t law-abiding. If your selected group has to be law abiding before they can get selected into the group, their performance after the selection has taken place isn\'t all that informative.

??? Yes there is a reason for it, Oregon has been a white nationalist
stronghold for decades, the better part of two centuries. It\'s a big
part of why the settlers of Oregon founded Oregon, y\'know!

Have you ever been to Portland? I was there ~10 years ago,

Well you are making my case, there is a lack now, so every little
\'micro aggression\' is amplified. Or you have to dig ~ 40 years into the
past.

Note: I\'m not saying there are no more racists*, just fewer.

*heck there\'s a confederate battle flags flying on my road.
