This may eventually turn out to be on-topic. If we could design high temperature super-conductors by making them with correctly spaced stripes, electronic design would have interesting new components to play with.

Bill Sloman is an attention-craving chronic liar who cannot be reasoned with...

John Doe has a bizarre point of view. Posting a link to an interesting paper recently published in PNAS isn\'t any kind of lying, and high-temperature superconductivity is a legitimate subject of attention, even if John Doe doesn\'t understand why.

Posting idiotic and badly formatted responses to a post you clearly don\'t understand is the kind of thing that attention-craving trolls like John Doe go if for, but he clearly lacks the insight to realise that he\'s exhibiting the kind of behavior that he imagines that he is criticising.

Thanks.
I am interested in superconduction for an other reason,
something to do with
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_Podkletnov
and
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ning_Li_(physicist)
who unfortunately died last year.

Since I am sort of thinking in a Le Sage way of gravity where EM is just a state of a Le Sage particle
that way uniting gravity and electromagnetism, any paper of superconduction has my interest
(for propulsion, see my recent posting to sci.astro),
There have also recently been several referenced on
https://www.sciencedaily.com

I have the super cooler and some superconductors to play with, not done any experiment since I moved here yet.
Need a better lab ...

Playing is also how I started in electronics....
with help from a few good books.

Yeah, but... I\'m not sure what a six-leg cylinder or Hubbard model or
Luther-Emery liquid really ARe, so there\'s a day or twelve in a good library
between me and understanding even the first page of that paper.
It seems like a pretty purely theoretical work, too; maybe I should look
up an old coworker they mentioned, and see if he can explain it in monosyllables.

NOBODY likes the John Doe troll\'s contentless spam.

And yet, the clueless John Doe troll has continued to post incorrectly
formatted USENET articles that are devoid of content (latest example on
