Anyone got any info on NJ? He used to post here regularly but I\'ve not
seen any of his (usually) valuable contributions of late. :-/

I mentioned him here a few days ago. At the end of January he mentioned
that he was moving into an assisted-living place on account of some
medical issues, and hasn\'t posted since. He suffered a collapsed lung a
few years ago, IIRC, and hasn\'t been in the best of health.
May God bless and heal him.

Assisted living is not the ideal situation these days. I hope he is safe.

My 94 year old friend is still in independent living and gets the reports on the rest of the facility. They had a total of 15 residents die, all but one were in the nursing care portion of the facility. By mid June all the workers and residents had recovered, no active cases. Recently two more workers tested positive. Clearly there is no way to keep anyone safe as long as we allow the disease to rage across the country.

If you can\'t take virtually 100% precautions to prevent the disease crossing your threshold while it is rampant in the general population, sooner or later you will catch it.

I emailed him. He\'s still alive and kicking (albeit not kicking
particularly hard), and says to say hi to y\'all. (His newsreader software
isn\'t working at the moment.)
