Microwave Leackege Repairing

Guest
I have several Microwave Ovenns Booth on 2.4 Ghz and some
older versions working on 900Mhz .

They are preaty well used and most have leakege above 2mw/cm2
as measuread with an Yokogawa Measurement System .

The leakege are around the doors interlooks area ,
the lower side due to rusting or all around the door .

Can this type of problems be repaired ?

Sure, but I think the question you're asking is whether they can be
repaired economically. With today's microwave oven prices, you'd be
better off buying new, even compared with doing the repairs yourself,
unless your time is worth less than minimum wage.

What does a Yokogawa Measurement System cost?

These can be repaired, but not economically. You will have to change the
case, if it is rusted. If the door is rusted that would also have to be
replaced. The tolerance of how close the door latches, and the operation of
the safety switches are also critical. Wear points are the hinges, and
switches.

I would look at a more serious type of measuring tool.
