Hi ALL
I am running switched cap amplifier along with trans impedance amplifier. So i have current input going through resistor and creating output voltage which passes through switched cap amplifier to amplify signal. I want to do noise analysis. and I am using eldo transient noise function. I feel ac noise calculation will not be correct since my circuit is more discrete time kind . And its operating point is not fixed.
for transient noise analysis, eldo has bunch of documentation and it enforces the point that transient noise simulation is real time noise simulation where noise is considered as any other electrical signal V or I. whats your experience with eldo transient noise simulation for amplifier / switched cap type circuits?
If i have to do ac noise analysis, i dont understand how can i use ac input to run my circuit. I think i need to define dc operating points first ..
