Does anyone know where I can buy small quantities of Manganin wire or
sheet for making homebrew current shuts ?
In the past I've use 304 stainless steel but Manganin is better.
304 SS Manganin Copper
---------------------------------------------------------------
Resistivity (uohm-cm) 72 48 1.7
Temp. coeff (ppm/K) 1040 +-15 4040
Where temperature coefficient is alpha in following the following
equation. R = Rref * (1 + alpha*(T - Tref))
