Lost sound on Front Speakers(ONKYO TX-SV919THX)

Just noticed that I have lost sound coming from the speakers that are
connected to the front speaker terminals(A or B). My surround sound speakers
and center speaker work ok. Any idea on what I might be able to try to get
back to working or how to check?

**Check your speaker connections for the front speakers at the receiver and
at the speakers.
**Verify that the speaker switches on the receiver.... are set properly.....
just run Speaker A and do not turn on Speaker B.
**Verify that you have the front speakers connected to "A"
**Temporarily turn OFF any of the Pro Logic or Surround settings.....
**Try a different/another set of speakers on "A"
If all of the above does not shed some light on the problem you are having
you would be best advised to take your ONKYO receiver into a service shop
for a proper and safe repair.... or at the very least a repair cost estimate
so you can make an intelligent decision with facts instead of internet
guesses..... the only way that you will get the facts about what is
actually faulty is to have an experienced and knowledgeable tech with the
proper test equipment, tools, parts, etc..... pull the covers off and
perform troubleshooting, voltage measurements, component testing, etc......
definitely NOT a task for anyone without the above mentioned..... Take it
to a shop so you can make an intelligent decision..
