Looking for transparent sensor enclosure

In the old days there were glass domes for housing incandescent indicator
lamps on electronic equipment. Some of them were very robust, and
weatherproof. Does anyone know if this sort of thing can still be obtained
in small quantities anywhere? I need something for photosensors to be
mounted outside. It needs to be UV resistant, so glass would be better than
plastic. TIA

What about a coolant / gear oil sight glass - glass or polycarbonate????

Perhaps from RS, Blackwoods / Atkins or some other machinery parts supply

What do they use to cover the sensors on commercial auto night light
sensors, or on street light sensors (if they have them that is)?

What about the domes used on outdoor security cameras? Jaycar have a
range of them for their "fake" camera housings.
Bunnings sell UV resistant clear polycarb sheeting in at least two
different thicknesses. You could cut some to size to fit a small jiffy
box as the lid. Or what about those new clear jiffy boxes, would they
pass sufficient light?
