JVC GR-323 Camcorder No Colour on playback

Hi

I have a JVC GR-323E with no colour on playback of recordings. When these
recordings are played back on a standard VCR Using the casset adaptor you
also get no colour on playback.

However if you record on the Standard VCR unit and play it back in the
camcorder you get colour but it has a checkerd pattern on the colours.

If you then recored over the tape using the camcorder when you play it back
in the camcorder the new recording is black & white and the sound from the
last Standard VCR recording can be heard about every 2 seconds.

Any advice would be much appericated.

Hi

After replacing 18 surface mount capacitors on the main Video Board the
colour is now perfectly restored.
