Hello,

I have a Honda Accord Euro 2005 while driving the headlights, speedo and CD
player cut out for a second this occurs
regularly. Advised to change battery but this has not done anything. The
engine does not stall.
Appreciate any comments.

** Likely nothing more than a tarnished /corroded in-line connector in the
DC feed that is common to those items.

High resistance connectors heat up, expand and then disconnect - sometimes
for only for a short period of time before repeating that behaviour. Very
annoying.

You should be able to get the same power drop outs to happen with the car
parked, at home - soooo all you need to do then is FIND the darn
connector that is getting very hot.

And replace it.

Most likely a fuse or in-line connector going momentarily open circuit. A loose
fuse could do it. The 2005 Honda Accord had a recall where they replaced the
entire fuse box. The chances of you having one of the affected vehicles is very
small though.

Sounds dangerous!
Get it fixed ASAP by someone who knows what they are doing.
No factory or extended warranty left?

Dave.

Thanks for the reply. Obviously there all on one circuit. A circuit
diagram
for the particular circuit would be useful (is there any website) otherwise
would
have to do it the hard way.
