Good Grief! You don't know how it works.... The Data base is
one way. It only matters if you show up regularly. Like
shoplifting in a store and the first ten times they don't catch
you, on the eleventh your seen..... Besides the odd are your name
appeared before given your propensity to insult or denigrate
people. A lot of people on this list are likely in the data base,
most people don't tell when they forward a report. I don't
usually.

I had a friend who got a threat. So you will understand the
nature.... It said "There can be only one!" A quote from a
movie. He discarded it and didn't report it. A couple months
later his garage was fire bombed and his hand restored Classic car
was totally destroyed but the fire department saved most of the
house. He had nothing for the authorities to trace to determine
if the threat was related to the fire.

Also, if you see an abandoned suit case in the underground, do you
report it?

BTW: I sign my real name, I just omit the middle part of my last
name due to it being grossly misspelled so often. Besides some in
Britain thought I was being pretentious due to my name being the
same as twelve generations of Knights who were in various cabinets
and the house of Lords. So I shortened it to 'Gt' to assure them
I was "Just me" Never use the Alphabet soup suffixes either, they
really don't mean anything to most people anyway, and most think
them pretentious.

For God Almighty's sake I didn't threaten anyone and I'm not "insulting or
denigrating anyone". All that exists nowhere else except in your mind. If
everytime someone has words with another in this newsgroup then everybody in
the group is on the database.
I hope and pray the people in Homeland Security have the basic intelligence
to see that.
The problem is you probably alarmed them in some way prompting them to think
that there may be something else going on in the background unseen. If they
begin to look at a person from a certain perspective then everything that
that person says could be misinterpreted in the wrong way.
You are continuing to chit-chat to me as if what you have done to me is
something trivial. It's not. What kind of person are you?
Like I said I hope to travel to the the US and it will be a constant source
of worry for me now wondering what will happen when I apply for a visa.
I am the most mannerly and considerate person I know having a more educated
heart and more sophisticated mind than the average person. There is nothing
you can teach me about good manners and clear thinking. However now that I
understand a little better the kind of people some of you folks really are
in this group you can bet your bottom dollar that if I do return to the
group, as I probably will, having this horrifying experience with you, I
will be extremely cautious about what I say and now that I understand that
having engineering qualifications doesn't mean that the person holding these
qualifications has a rational mind I will certainly confine myself to
contributing simple material that people like you with very low overall
intelligence can understand because, my dear man, you haven't the fogiest
idea about a single word I write. I have some great pals in this group and
I'm worried they will take what I've just said the wrong way. If your

How could I have alarmed them by forwarding a message containing
what I say and see as treating? I didn't write the message! If
it wasn't a threat, you as the author have nothing to worry about.

You know, travel here is not so easy as you seem to think. It
takes almost as long to comply with security regulations as the
trip it's self in some cases. I drive to any destination closer
than 400 miles. (640Km) due to the inconvenience. They search
everyone, even 75 year old ladies. And almost everyone has to
take off their shoes and put them through the x-ray machines.
Some of the security services use a machine which allows them to
examine the contents of your pockets and the labels on your
underwear!

Well I have prevented a couple of suicides, and got many people
jobs in their chosen field. I've been a member of many social and
educational groups, although I am not as active as a few years
back. I Cook and have received many compliments on the quality
and variety of my culinary skills. I have spoken as a
inspirational speaker to large groups in eleven states and
received ovations for it. (I really do not enjoy this since like
you I am mostly an introvert.) I would say that you have nothing
to judge me by. Just as I have only your ranting to go by to form
an image of your twisted little world.

Why attack Jim? He is pithy and down to earth. To me he appears
more interested in impressing others than I, which is merely a
difference in comfort level. He's direct and says what he means,
means what he says, and has a wicked sense of humor.. Very human!
Unlike yourself, he helps people without asking for some form of
worship. I only wish I could so easily quote text book data and
instruct as clearly as he does with out any apparent effort.

I get the job done, but must always make a direct and concentrated
effort to assure correctness, which he seems to have mastered. We
can not all expect to be alike, so I am not jealous of him. Nethe
r am I in awe of your choice of a career. In fact although I did
a search for papers you may have published, with the customary
requirement to publish or perish in academia, but found nothing
that could be attributed to you. My own work is not in print,
rather it is the may products I have designed over a long span of
time and the aggregate value of those products exceed $2B. Of
course I didn't work alone and will willing share the credit with
the hundreds of people who handled and processed and shipped the
products, even to the janitors. Without them the place would fill
with trash and nothing would get done!

Traffic on the Internet is scanned by a bank of super computers
and certain phrases and patterns are flagged for analysis. You
haven't read about it? I would think you would pay attention to

You know, travel here is not so easy as you seem to think. It
takes almost as long to comply with security regulations as the
trip it's self in some cases. I drive to any destination closer
than 400 miles. (640Km) due to the inconvenience. They search
everyone, even 75 year old ladies. And almost everyone has to
take off their shoes and put them through the x-ray machines.
Some of the security services use a machine which allows them to
examine the contents of your pockets and the labels on your
underwear!

Well I have prevented a couple of suicides, and got many people
jobs in their chosen field. I've been a member of many social and
educational groups, although I am not as active as a few years
back. I Cook and have received many compliments on the quality
and variety of my culinary skills. I have spoken as a
inspirational speaker to large groups in eleven states and
received ovations for it. (I really do not enjoy this since like
you I am mostly an introvert.) I would say that you have nothing
to judge me by. Just as I have only your ranting to go by to form
an image of your twisted little world.

Why attack Jim? He is pithy and down to earth. He appears
more interested in impressing others than I, which is merely a
difference in comfort level. He's direct and says what he means,
means what he says, and has a wicked sense of humor.. Very human!

Unlike yourself, he helps people without asking for some form of
worship. I only wish I could so easily quote text book data and
instruct as clearly as he does with out any apparent effort.

I get the job done, but must always make a direct and concentrated
effort to assure correctness, which he seems to have mastered. We
can not all expect to be alike, so I am not jealous of him.

a search for papers you may have published, with the customary
requirement to publish or perish in academia, I found nothing
attributed to you. My own work is not in print, rather it is the
many products I've designed over a long span of time and the
aggregate value of those products exceed $2B. Of course I
didn't work alone and will willing share the credit with
the hundreds of people who handled and processed and shipped
the products, even to the janitors. Without them the place would
fill with trash and nothing would get done!

alt.conspiracy for example? Half of the usenet denizens would be at

The HS personnel is probably the most humourless bunch on the face of
the Earth but hopefully they still have a bit of sense about them. So
tell this Roger character to stick his threats up his ass and chew
them. It's all empty chest thumping, if what he says he did has any
effect then both McCarthy-ism and Stalinist "denounce thy neighbour"
policies are well and alive in the land of the supposed brave and
free.

Next month I may or may not make a trip to the states. Once there I
might think about committing some random murder and mayhem. Then
again, I might not. Now let's see where this gets me.
