GPS SYSTEM

Hello,

I want to build a gps system in my car,
i want to have a very cheap system,
i don't know where to start,
the system may be in modules,
i can place the components on a pcb board myself,
but i can't design such a project.

who can help we with this?
it is a project for my summer vaction ;-)

Not to be "that" dick....but how much background do you have in
circuit design? A GPS system is a little bit advanced for someone with
no background...
