Equivalent(s) for 2SK1723?

I have had no luck finding equivalents for the 2SK1723 switcher in an
old Acer 56E monitor - in fact, I can't even locate a data sheet to
help match to an equivalent. It is an N-channel 600V 12A 150W TO-3P
device.

Any constructive suggestions welcome.

Infineon list a SPP07N60C3 as being equivalent and that part has a datasheet
at http://www.infineon.com/cmc_upload/documents/046/257/SPP_B_I_A07N60C3.pdf
that may help you pick some other equivalents.

Had a look at that group of devices. Not EXACTLY equivalents (6A
instead of 12A) but should do the job - if the monitor pulls anything
like 12A of the rectified DC there would be a distinct incendiary
smell ;-)
