Epson Stylus C45 red and green light flashes alternatly.

I have this new Epson stylus printer which has both the red and
green lights flashing alternatively. May I know what that means?

Check the obvious: ink, paper, etc.

If none of these fix it, you said it was new, so it should have a
warranty. If it doesn't, return it and get another.

If none of these fix it, it is broken. Since you say it is new, it
should have a warranty. Get it fixed or take it back to the store and
return it.

Comm error with the printer software or USB port. Change ports or reload
the software.

maybe needs resetting internal memory... i heard this for Epson C40s...
