Folks,
ICCAD is a great place to see what's hot in VLSI CAD. There is
still time to sign up for the two sets of tutorials that we'll be
offering this year: the Sunday Focus on Design Workshop and the
Thusday full-day in-depth tutorials.

The conference will begin with a Sunday Workshop "Focus on Design:
High-End Designers and the CAD Tools They Love" For this, we are
bringing together high-end microprocessor, ASIC and FPGA designers to
talk about their design and CAD challenges. Six of the Workshop
speakers will then participate in a panel discussion on "CAD for
High-end Design: Help, Hope or Hype?"

The workshop program
- System Design of High-End Systems with Altera FPGA's,
Joe Hanson, Altera
- Design of High End Processors for the Consumer Space, Peter
Hofstee, Faizul Alam, IBM Microelectronics
- Designing High-Performance Consumer ASICS: A Race Against the
Clock, Jeff Dauber

2:45pm-4:15pm
Session 4 - System Design of High-End Systems with FPGA's
2:45pm-4:15pm
Richard Vallee, Bruce Oakley
Session 5 - Trends and Challenges in High-Performance Microprocessor
Design
4:30pm-6pm
Stefan Rusu
Session 6- Design fo High End ASICS for High Speed Routers
4:30pm-6pm
Richard Paul

The workshop registration fees
IEEE/ACM Member: $55
Non Member: $60
Student $30

This year's ICCAD
