Look at that smog suffocating Sydney
It isn\'t photochemical smog, but rather bush-fire smoke from deliberately lit hazard reduction burns. Still not great for the lungs, but not smog.

Looks like they overdid it. That\'s ridiculous.

Wonder how cool they think digging up all that coal is now:

https://www.worldometers.info/coal/australia-coal/
Think of the money. And if our political system decided that we should leave it in the ground, our customers might spend some of their money on providing us with a different political system, as Putin did when he supported Trump\'s election campaign in 2016.
\"For example, coal with a carbon content of 78 percent and a heating value of 14,000 Btu per pound emits about 204.3 pounds of carbon dioxide per million Btu when completely burned.(5) Complete combustion of 1 short ton (2,000 pounds) of this coal will generate about 5,720 pounds (2.86 short tons) of carbon dioxide.\"

https://www.eia.gov/coal/production/quarterly/co2_article/co2.html

And these swine are exporting over 400 million tons annually.
We aren\'t the only coal exporter by any means. Even the US exported 86 million tons in 2022.

El Nino is delusional fake without scientific merits
having nothing to do with any short-term climate changes due to fluctuations in solar activity
like this year

NASA Citizen Scientist
The nonsense about solar cycles affecting global warming originated with a 1990s paper that was thoroughly debunked because it was based on flawed data and flawed analysis of that data. The paper was removed from active status by the publisher. But there are remnants of lunatics like yourself who still believe in lucky charms and ignore the plain common science data collected by institutes like NOAA.

https://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/analysis_monitoring/enso_advisory/ensodisc.shtml

Ocean circulation has a lot to do with climate. Accumulating heat is one thing, but it\'s how it\'s circulated by the oceans that makes the difference.

Do you have a golden elephant, or maybe a dragon, on your car\'s dashboard to protect against accidents too?
Who cares solar cycles\' fake.

I have joined 3 groups of solar watchers, publishing fake number of solar spots, called Wolf number.

Rudolf Wolf always published the real number of sunspots, as watched by himself.

Wolf number is fake term,
multiplying number of sunspots by 10

So what matters is solar activity, represented by the real solar energy energy emitted and directed to the Earth

Only few sun observatories in the world publish the real number of sunspots as observed and counted by an observer.

The other observatories publish fake Wolf number only, calling it the number of sunspots
to generate fake solar cycles to be published officially, as a delusional science to attract public money and money from donators

You can easily verify the above contacting the Sun Observatory in Brussels (web page is active and updated daily)

Total waste of time to watch the sun when there are very accurate means of measuring exactly how much solar energy is impinging on every square inch of Earth, the bottom line. The variation in that received energy due to all these voodoo anomalies and spots and so on\'s amounts to an insignificant fraction of a percentile of the mean, and do not affect global warming..

Looks like they overdid it. That\'s ridiculous.

Last year we had a record amount of rain, so the local vegetation did well, and there wasn\'t a lot of opportunity for fuel reduction burns. We\'ll need quite a few more.

The \"heat wave\" - such as it was - has gone away, so they may be able to get in a few more before it gets too hot and dry to be safe to do it.

When they do controlled burns in proximity to urban centers in U.S., the foresters are required by law to look at the wind forecast so as to prevent shrouding population centers with haze like that. Just a thought.

Just what the people who have to fight the real fires need - lots of inexpert advice from people who don\'t have to carry the can when real bush-fires devastate urban areas.

Lawyers love giving everybody a say. They tend to ignore the point that most people who want to have a say don\'t know what they are talking about, and tend to be most vociferous when they know least.
