G'day everyone,
I'm just wondering if anyone here has bought one of those kits. If
so, do you have any comments about it?
I've never seen one, so I'm a bit curious about what they're like.

Thanks
Bob

I bought the made up ESR unit, its is Excellent, (yeah even better than your
kit Bob, sorry)
http://www.peakelec.co.uk/acatalog/jz_esr60.html
Tells you the ESR, PLUS the Capacitance.
Even appears to have a relay that wont enable the Tester Circuit until cap
is fully discharged.
(That's what took my old Kit unit out)
So it is a pleasure using the new one.
I Thought Altronics stocked them, but I bought mine from Peakelec, UK..

Thanks Allan,
That one was designed by a very cluey young bloke by the name of Jez
Siddons who created a whole range of very clever little instruments.
I've heard good things about it.
Doesn't look like Altronics have been overwhelmed by people wanting
to buy their ESR meter kit though...
