Why we have Gravity
A correct theory of gravity will show us these four (4) things:
1. It will show us why gravity also acts like acceleration (principle
of equvalence).
2. It will show us the actual cause of gravity.
3. It will show us why gravitational force and inertial force are
equivalent.
4. It will show us the speed of gravitational attraction.
Newton said gravity was acting at a much faster speed than Einstein.
Which one of them is right?
Both Newton and Einstein were wrong.
Gravity doesn't come from here and go to there, the way light does.
Gravity goes both ways simultaneously, in opposite directions, along a
straight line between objects.
So you see, when it meets in the middle, it bridges the divide, even
though it's only halfway there.
Light that's gone half the distance wouldn't have made a connection,
while gravity is already fully in place and ready to work. So gravity
acts twice as fast as light.
Ah, so gravity affects gravity, also unlike light. I see...
It must. Otherwise, anti-gravity wouldn't work.
Ah, so gravity is bipolar, too. What one learns on the Usenet.
It has its ups and downs.

Without gravity the oxygen and nitrogen in the air would diffuse away
into space. Insufficient atmospheric pressure would result in water
being gaseous at room temperature. That would really suck.

Not to mention the Moon stabilizing (not to mention the whole planetary
system.... what a watch!!)
perfectionist...

You can still hear Beethoven, but Beethoven cannot hear you ;-)
He couldn't Handel it anyway.
