Ok. Sounds good to me. So what is your objective ? functional testing
of the high speed IOs, or manufacturing testing or both ? The DFT
strategy will depend on your goals.

Are you familiar with CMT ATE platforms?

What is CMT ATE platforms. I work with quite a few ATEs, like
advantest, teradyne, agilent etc.

What is HVM ? are you talking about developing functional verification
vectors using verilog, ?

CMT is an Advantest Platform, and it can go upto 500Mhz functional
atspeed testing.
With a little tweak in timings, it can go to 666MHz
Plus it is cheaper than an Agilent so that you can use it in HVM. (High
Volume Mfg).
