Bad EAROM perhaps. That means you may have lost your calibration constants
that the microprocessor loads into registers throughout the scope to set
gains,timing speeds,etc.

04 fail 10 means bad checksum, bit 4 set. Or in other words: He has to
run through the cal process.
The OP can download the service manual for free from
www.teknetelectronics.com
This manual includes all the schematics and calibration process steps.
Good luck!

Andreas

Thank's for answers.
I will try to calibrate scope .
If it will not set then EAROM is bad.
Where is possible it to buy EAROM?

If he recals, and then gets another fail message, then the EAROM is bad;it's
not retaining the data. We used to replace a lot of EAROMs at TEK while I
was there.
