I need advice guy
is it possible to combine the output of two identical switch mode
suppliesto gain a larger handling combined output ?
are there any potential problems likely re phase etc ?

yes, same as with linear supplies, it works best with
unregulated supplies.

No. with regulated supplies the same care must be taken as
if you're paralleling linear regulated supplies.

But take care if you are stacking outputs in series for increased voltage /
split rails. Some outputs are not isolated and the magic smoke will get out.
