It sure seems like this group is overrun with spam, a lot worse than
any of the other groups I use. How long has it been like this? It
really gets in the way of using Google Groups.

Check out individual.net. Costs 10EUR a year, but I hardly see any spam
at all there. Very reliable, haven't had any problems with that service
in all the years I've been using it.

Replace "MONTH" with the three-letter abbreviation of the current month
and the two-digit code for the current year (simple, eh?).

Here's a description from the site:
