Semi revenues fall globally for consecutive years - Gartner

For the first time, the global semiconductor industry registered two consecutive years of revenue declines in 2008 and 2009, but performed better than expected in the second half of 2009, setting the stage for strong 2010 growth against weak comparables, market research company Gartner reported yesterday.
