Hi,
I'd like to try OVL . I normally use verilog and the Xilinx ISE tool
and its embedded simulator (ISIM).
I think I understand the concepts of verification (from
http://www.verilog.org/ovl/)
but I do not know how to practically start using it.
From
http://www.accellera.org/activities/ovl/TermsConditions
I have downloaded and unzipped std_ovl_v2p5_July232010.tgz
What should I do now ?
Where should I put the OVL directories ? How to compile the
libraries ?
Thanks,
Tullio

Downloading a software is a good start - but you still need to know what the software is used for. If you understand the concept of verification, a google such on "assertion based verification" will reveal more.
