The best way to lose weight is not to prevent yourself from eating and
at the same time look at how much you eat. Focused on healthy eating
and do not focus on your weight and you'll find yourself losing weight
without .

[lose weight...]
1. Eat slower. Let each bite linger in your mouth, as you savor every nuance
of flavor in the nutrition; finish the bite that's in your mouth, have a sip
of your beverage to clear your palate, then take another reasonably-sized
bite, savor it to its fullest flavor value, and repeat until you figure out
the point of this exercise.
2. Stop trying to feed your emotional hungers with physical foods.
That's it! That's the secret!
It doesn't get any press because there's no money in it.
Cheers!

According to an article cited in Sports Geezer the top five weight
loss foods are in order: yogurt, fruit, nuts, whole grains and
vegetables.
Eat enough fiber and you may go through a lot of toilet paper but you
_will_ lose weight.

After the big push for junk food free food stamps last year a health
nut Wall Street type asked, "but, Bret, how are you going to make
money off of this?"
We looked at everything, produce coolers (a gazillion non public
companies in California alone), the refrigeration industry, (Carrier
is owned by United Technologies and that stock ain't gonna budge
because of Carrier), long haul reefer trucking companies, (probably
just switch from processed food to veggies) etc.
After a few weeks of brainstorming we concluded that there was no
money in healthy food.
Finally I vaguely remembered someone had been down this road long ago.
"Isn't that the classic leftist complaint about capitalism? Food?"

My friend who is a (skinny) nurse says she proposes a bypass in the upper
esophagus so you can eat anything you want for the taste, and then throw the
switch to fill your stomach with whatever is actually needed. Much less
invasive and more easily reversible than a gastric bypass.
Another friend who was into yoga and meditation and such said the way to
lose weight is just two words:
"Enjoy Hunger"
I think he had something there.
