Hi,
Does anyone know where on the web or in Cadence/Synopsys documentation a
LEF syntax description can be found?
Thanks,

Hi again,
I answered my own question. Apparently LEF and DEF are proprietatry formats
of Cadence. However, I think they are open or at least open in the way
Liberty from Synopsys is

. Anyway the definitions can be found on the
Cadence sourcelink site by using the following search expression with "All
Products" selected:
LEF library exchange format language reference
I hope I save someone a lot of Web poking around.

Hi Joshua,
There is this document online about the VCLEF format.
http://3c.nii.org.tw/3c/silicon/SOC/vclef51.pdf
VCLEF is a subset of LEF. Most of them are compatible. If you really
want the entire LEF definition, I am sure you can just use google and
there will be plenty.
